Should’ve Done That A While Ago… Unstaking DVS on all FreeCompliments Community Accounts and Adding a Far Better Project!
Last month, the DVS/DHEDGE project announced its complete closure. I did unstake and sell off my own stack of DVS and DHEDGE, but only now did I get to unstaking DVS from all community accounts (and sold off DHEDGE). It’ll take a while to sell these all off, but we now have a plan as to how we’ll use the resultant swap.Hive funds.
Selling DHEDGE and DVS – What Next? The answer: INCOME token
The INCOME project has been running for quite a bit of time, and it’s been very profitable for its largest holders! Indeed, in addition to giving out $HIVE dividends, I’ve been told by the project owner that holding 22 INCOME tokens essentially guarantees votes from their $~1 curation trail (they give out 15 votes per day on posts which are less than 22 hours old). Since not all of the large token holders get votes daily (some don’t post at all), a minimum of 10 INCOME tokens is generally recommended to get recognized by the curation trail.
Keep in mind that this is not a vote-buying service: by reblogging someone else’s posts, you can get it upvoted by this curation trail as well! In fact, the FreeCompliments Community plans to implement this mechanism at some point in the near future.
In order to do this, we’re going to collect INCOME tokens. Our proceeds from selling DHEDGE and DVS tokens will go towards buying INCOME and sending them to our community accounts. They’ll earn additional curation rewards through this mechanism, which will help their growth. One account will be dedicated towards reblogging other people’s posts so that they can get the benefits of this curation trail. It’s going to be set up once we make our INCOME token collection larger!
Furthermore, we’re going to add INCOME token as part of another reward system which is still in the works…! I’ve affirmed all of these use cases with the project owner, so I believe we’re going to have a pretty strong collaboration.
So far, we’ve filled hive-140084 with just over 22 INCOME tokens, and fc-rewards now has 6.5 INCOME tokens. Let’s keep this going!
Conclusion
We’re finally selling off DHEDGE and DVS, and converting them into INCOME tokens to support our growth, and the growth of future members of the FreeCompliments Community!

This is a great decision. I would have to read more about the INCOME token project.
I've already read about the INCOME token and found it interesting, but I considered it too expensive to invest in. At least with my current budget, it's good that you were able to do it.

INCOME is a great program. The only issue is they only upvote 11 posts a day total and those votes go to the folks who hold the most tokens and post day within 24 ish hours of when the bot does the voting. This means most hodlers will not get upvotes for themselves or re-blogs.They will still get daily divs but if folks are looking for consistent upvotes this may not be the best choice (or they will need a lot of tokens especially if more people come onboard). I hope that all made sense.
I have heard that if you delegate or own tokens in projects you get weekly votes as support, but I don't know what they will be, income seems a good decision in hive drip but for votes it will be difficult ^^
