How are you doing Actifiters? I hope you are all having a healthy, peaceful, and relaxing weekend with your loved ones!
As usual, Thursday also started early for me. I woke up before Fajr prayer and drove my father to the mosque. After offering the prayer, we returned home. I made tea and started working on my laptop.
Isra woke up around 9 AM. I took her outside for some time, as she loves spending time outdoors. After coming back, I had breakfast and continued my work.
That day, I also had to take my youngest sister to the hospital for a dental checkup. Her visit had been postponed the day before, so around 11:50 AM, I wrapped up my work and left for the hospital with her.
Luckily, a new government dental hospital had recently opened near our home. It was not far away, and the best thing was that the treatment was free. The hospital also had qualified dentists, so we decided to visit there.
First, we went to the OPD, where a dentist examined my sister's teeth and took some X-rays. After checking the reports, the dentist explained that her last tooth was growing in the wrong direction and putting pressure on the neighbouring tooth. That was the reason behind her pain. The dentist suggested removing it and referred us to the extraction department.
There, another dentist checked her teeth and told us that it was not a simple extraction case. We needed to consult a professor and a surgeon before making a decision.
So, we visited the professor. After examining her teeth, he advised surgery to remove the last wisdom tooth. He also gave us an appointment for Monday.
The whole process took almost two and a half hours. Thankfully, the hospital was close to our home, and we reached back in around 20 minutes.
I was glad that we finally found the reason for her pain. At least now we knew what was causing the problem and what needed to be done next. Hopefully, everything will go well on Monday.
After returning home, I completed a few small work tasks before Asr prayer. Then I offered my prayer, had tea, and took Isra for a short bike ride. She was happy to get another chance to go outside!
After Maghrib prayer, we had dinner and watched some TV. Later, after Isha prayer, we gathered in my parents' room as usual. We enjoyed tea and had our normal family conversation.
As usual, I went out for my late-night walk. Isra was still awake when I left. The weather was excellent, and I really enjoyed walking in the cool night air. I completed my daily goal of 10,000 steps.
But the real surprise was waiting for me when I returned home! ๐
I found Isra still awake, while her mother looked completely tired. Isra had managed to make a big mess. Her clothes and toys were scattered around, and even our clothes and shoes had not been spared!
It was already very late, so taking her outside was not an option. I took her near the window and gently showed her that it was dark outside. I told her that we couldn't go out now and that it was time to sleep.
I then gave her some lullabies, and after a little while, she finally fell asleep.
Honestly, sometimes putting a little child to sleep feels like a bigger task than completing 10,000 steps! ๐ But these are the little moments that make family life interesting.
Overall, Wednesday was a busy day. I managed my work, took care of my sister's hospital visit, spent time with Isra, and completed my daily walking goal. I just hope my sister's surgery goes smoothly on Monday and she gets relief from the pain.
That's all about my Wednesday. Wishing everyone good health, happiness, and a peaceful day ahead! โค๏ธ
