My Actifit Report Card: October 22 2026 ki

Peace be upon you all,

I hope you're having an amazing day, fellow Actifiters. It's time for another daily update, and I'm excited to share my steps and activities with you!

Thursday's Actifit Activity Report:

Yesterday started early with Fajr prayer. After praying, I made a cup of tea and sat in front of my laptop to begin my work.

Unfortunately, we were still dealing with a serious payment issue with one of our clients. Three months of payments were pending. My wife had sent them an official letter and email the previous day, asking them to clear the dues. We were waiting for their response.

Looking back, we realized that we had made a mistake by allowing the payments to be delayed for so long. We thought things would work out, but now the delay was hurting our business. It was a painful lesson, but an important one. Sometimes, we learn things the hard way.

Meanwhile, Isra woke up early, but she wasn't feeling well. She was crying because of gas and stomach discomfort. I gently massaged her belly, and thankfully, she started feeling better after a few minutes. Soon, she fell asleep again, and I returned to work.

Around 10 AM, she woke up in a better mood, ready to start her day. Her mother got her ready, and we went outside to our usual spot under the mango tree. We watched the birds and tried to copy their sounds. Isra loves cats, too, but she is still afraid to go near them. Watching her little reactions always makes me smile.

After spending some time outside, we had breakfast, and I got back to work. My wife was busy in a meeting, so Isra spent a couple of hours with her grandparents. She loves spending time with them, especially her grandmother.

I finished my work before Asr prayer. After praying, I had tea and took Isra out for a bike ride. We explored different parts of our housing society for about half an hour. It was a simple ride, but we both enjoyed it.

After Maghrib, dinner was ready, but not everyone was home yet. My brother was busy on a call, and my youngest sister had not returned from her clinic. So, we waited for a little while. After around 20โ€“25 minutes, everyone joined us, and we finally had dinner together.

My father was also having a difficult evening because of arthritis pain in his knees. He took his medicine, and we massaged his knees to help him feel more comfortable. He was feeling sleepy, so we kept our family gathering short and let him rest.

Thankfully, my wife was feeling much better than the previous day. The ointment seemed to be helping, and she didn't need any painkillers. My sister checked her knee and arm again, and we hoped she would recover completely within the next couple of days.

Now, the most interesting part of the day came at night!

Isra usually fell asleep after Isha prayer, but yesterday she had other plans. My wife and I both tried to get her to sleep, but nothing worked. She wanted to play, even though she was clearly getting sleepy.

By midnight, her mother was exhausted, so I took Isra in my arms. I started walking around with her and singing a little poem. After about 10โ€“15 minutes, she finally rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep.

What an adventure! ๐Ÿ˜„ Sometimes, getting a baby to sleep feels like a bigger task than a full day's work.

By then, it was already very late for my usual walk. Still, I didn't want to skip it completely, so I went outside and walked near the house for about half an hour instead of following my regular route.

I couldn't complete my daily step goal yesterday, but that was okay. Not every day goes according to plan.

I ended Thursday feeling tired but grateful. I hoped the payment issue would be resolved soon, my father would feel better, and my wife would make a full recovery.

Beautiful snapshot of real life, @rajpootg 5,134 steps isn't a record, but the story behind it is what matters.

The payment struggle is a harsh reminder that freelancing/small business comes with its own risks. Learning to enforce deadlines early is a lesson paid for in stress, but one that will serve you well long-term.

Israโ€™s late-night antics are the universal experience of parenthood. Walking and singing her to sleep at midnight? Thatโ€™s love in action. The fact that you still managed a 3.8km walk after that shows real dedication to your health goals.

Itโ€™s also great that youโ€™re taking care of your father and supporting your wifeโ€™s recovery. Family health is just as important as personal fitness.

Keep going. The steps add up, and so does the resilience youโ€™re building.
