From Office Storms to Sky Storms

Today felt like one of those days where I accidentally signed up as “emotional support staff” for everyone in the office. Stressed colleagues? Found me. Frustrated ones? Found me too. Apparently, I was today’s designated complaint department. Not the end of the world, but definitely energy-draining.

Normally, I recharge during my lunch break walk, just me, the fresh air, and a chance to reset. But not today. Today’s walk turned into a meeting about budgets, tariffs, and organizational shifts (because apparently nothing screams relaxation like corporate jargon).

By the time I got home, I felt like I’d done more emotional cardio than mental work. So, I did what I always do when the day feels heavier than it should: I laced up and went for a walk after dinner.

That’s when the universe gave me a little wink, the kind that says, “I see your chaos, here’s some drama of my own.” A wild sky, clouds rolling in with that “about to storm” look, perfectly theatrical. And storm appears to be going to roll in according to Carrot Weather. And yet, instead of feeling threatened, it felt almost funny, like nature was matching my day’s energy, but in a way that made me laugh out loud instead of sigh. For real!
