From Sunflowers to Sunset
Tuesdays are usually my “head down, no time” kind of days — the ones where you blink and suddenly it’s evening. But today, I carved out two little escapes that made all the difference.
The first was a lunch-break walk, right through fields of sunflowers. 🌻 It wasn’t the most zen stroll (Teams call in progress, camera politely off while I tried not to sound out of breath), but it was a reminder that even multitasking feels better outdoors. Funny how a row of bright yellow blooms can make corporate jargon sound less painful.
The second walk was the complete opposite: silence. Just me, the fading light, and a canal turning into glass as the sun set. 🌅 The world slowed down in that way it only does at dusk, and for a moment, the to-do lists and pings felt very far away.
Lesson of the day? You don’t need hours to reset. Sometimes two small walks are all it takes to reclaim a busy Tuesday.
