Stolen Time and Cloudy Skies
You know those days where the universe sneakily hands you back time? That was today. Thanks to holiday-thinned traffic, I won 1.5 hours i wasn’t expecting. And rather than scroll endlessly or flop on the couch, we grabbed the opportunity (and each other, @nathalie-s and I) and headed out for a medium walk.
The skies were dramatic, the canal calm. Clouds threatened rain but held off just long enough for us to enjoy the peaceful path. The temperature was that rare sweet spot: cool enough to feel fresh, warm enough to skip the jacket.
There’s something magical about walking side by side with no rush—feet moving, minds unwinding. It’s less about steps and more about moments shared.
Yeehaw for small gifts of time and how we choose to spend them. 🌿🚶♀️🚶♂️
