It has been a week of war in Iran. What do we know so far? Despite a lot information coming out every day I don't think we know much so far.
Obviously this is very different from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And the main difference is that United States has not launched a ground operation, at least not yet.

One thing that we have seen so far is that the price of oil has jumped to ninety dollars today. And I have filled up at Costco today and gas prices are up about twenty percent. At $4.80 per gallon it is getting close to the all time highs that we saw in the recent years in Seattle area.
News is talking about Venezuela oil that can be used to lower gas prices in United States. That sounds strange to me as from what I heard that oil is expensive to process. And surprisingly I have not heard anything about releasing oil from our strategic petroleum reserve.

As far as the war itself I see that United States has been using lots of munitions striking thousands of targets in Iran and also using a lot of defensive munitions against ballistic missiles and drones.
One surprising news in the last few days was that Trump administration has asked Ukraine for assistance against the Shahid drones which Ukraine deals with every single day. I guess that we realized that there are too many cheap Iranian drones to shoot down with expensive interceptor missiles.

Ukrainian president posted that Ukraine is going to provide the interceptor drones and personnel to train American soldiers in how to use those to eliminate Iranian drones. It is surprising that this drone threat was overlooked after four years of war in Ukraine.
Another interesting piece of information that came out today was that Russia is providing extensive intelligence data to Iran in order to help them better target Americans. That means that Russia might have the blood of six American soldiers that died in Iranian drone strike.

I hope this will not go unnoticed and after the Iran war is over we make Russia pay for it in Ukraine. Considering the fact that Trump just met with American weapons manufacturers and they agreed to quadruple the production of offensive weapons. These weapons can be used against Russia and really weaken the Russian army...
Fox News reports that everything is going great and the operation is on schedule to be successfully completed in four to six days, that sounds almost like Russian propaganda and I don't see that regime change is possible without the ground operation.

There is also talk about CIA arming Kurdish rebels for a ground operation. That doesn't sound like it will be enough against a country the size of Iran. I also heard a Kurdish leader speaking about it and didn't sound like this operation is going to be supported by the majority of the Kurds.
There is also talk about the operation in Iran lasting all the way until the midterm elections this fall. I don't see how that could be good for the Republican party.

So to summarize it I don't see this war ending anytime soon.
In Splinterlands the Conclave Arcana pack sale is coming to the end with about two days remaining. The amount of prizes remaining is still very high, so the chances to get a jackpot prize are becoming really high.

It also is looking like the proposal to modify the Survival SPS rewards split this season is going to pass. Hopefully this is going to encourage more player participation in the Survival mode.
And in Actifit steps I am back above ten thousand steps today.

I don't know why so many people are surprised by Trump bombing Iran he said before he was voted in that he was going to bomb the shit out of them.
I think all war situations are tough because governments lie to their voters and it is all based on perception.
On all sides.
I hear a lot of Americans talking about invading Russia but i don't think they have any clue how hard it would be, ask the Germans WW2.
Funny people forget Russia were fighting the Nazi's as well back then.
Hopefully the victims in the epstein files don't get forgotton because of all this, distraction is perfect for millionires and billionaires in America to avoid justice, if America ever imply it at all.
@seattlea have the best one.

4.80 per gallon, calculated per liter and to Euro is around €1.12 per liter, we pay around €2.10 per liter here 😑 it's crazy!
