Getting Ready For The Coming Week

This weekend was all about getting ready for next week and getting little things done around the house. I had spent some time getting garage organized and cleaned up.

Wife did lots of work around the kitchen reorganizing the cabinets and we made soup. Though we would be an overstatement as it was mostly wife cooking and me playing a supporting role as in wash and peel potatoes.

We also did some grocery shopping for the week ahead. Visiting multiple stores as not everything is available at Costco. I also filled up both cars as tomorrow I am on the drop off our daughter at school and pick her up duty and would need to have gas in my car.

We also did some shopping for gifts, mostly chocolates and stocking staffers, but also more impactful like some that look like this:

On Saturday our daughter had her art lesson and then we drove to the Cold Stone Creamery and had some ice-cream. She ordered banana ice-cream with dark chocolate chips and I ordered a waffle cone with banana ice-cream and corn meal and honey ice-cream that was available for a limited time only around the holiday season.

After our stopover at Cold Stone Creamery we continued to the local fish store where we picked up seven cherry shrimp. Each one of them was a different color. Our daughter picked red, yellow, orange, red and yellow striped one as well as three different shades of blue cherry shrimp.

So far the shrimp has been mostly hiding and it was almost a game to try to find them inside the aquarium. It causes lots of excitement for our daughter and she already named every single one of them and even made a mini guide with pictures of every cherry shrimp and exact colors as well as their names.

Crypto market seems to be trading in a range over the weekend with Bitcoin currently trading around ninety one thousand dollars and Etherium around thirty one hundred. I guess we might see some more movement once markets open on Monday.

Hive seems to be trading fairly weak and testing ten cents levels. These are fairly low price levels, but I am not going to be surprised if Hive revisits a six cents levels.

Splinterlands SPS token is at .66 of a cent level and is holding up fairly well here. The release of the first land cards and associated card burning for cinder seems to have caused card prices on the market to go up, with most of the increases related to legendary and epic cards.

We have a week left in the Splinterlands season and less than six hours before Foundation Weekly draw. Today I got my first golden legendary foundation card. Hopefully I get some luck in the foundation draw tomorrow.

In terms of weight lifting workouts I was able to do a pretty good one yesterday, but our son had a pinched nerve in his back so he didn't make it over today and we didn't workout. I will have to do a weight lifting workout tomorrow as my weight lifting workout on Saturday was emphasizing core and legs more than the upper body.

I did achieve over ten thousand steps once again today. Tomorrow is back to work and school.
