My Actifit Report Card: June 28 2025

I'm excited to get over ten thousand steps yesterday. The image above is from a trip with our daughter to one of her favorite restaurants.

She loves salmon sushi and always orders Salmon Lovers plater. We obviously ordered a few other things during the trip to a sushi restaurant while my wife was away for her business trip.

We started with vegetables and then our sushi dishes arrived. It was an interesting experience as we came in thirty minutes after the restaurant opened and we were the only customers in the restaurant.

I thought it was a nice and personalized experience to have the whole restaurant to ourselves, but my daughter experienced it for the first time in her life, so she was not completely comfortable with it.

Eventually, a couple of people showed up, so we were no longer the only diners in the restaurant. This was her last trip to a sushi restaurant while she was still eleven years old.

The next day, while mom was still away, we made pancakes with cherries and chocolate in the morning, then went to the pool, and after that, we visited her favorite burger place: Ranch Drive In.

At the Ranch drive in, we had a couple of burgers, French fries, and a banana milk shake.

It is a completely different dining experience, but a really good way to refuel after swimming for an hour in the pool.

The day was nice and sunny, with 78 degrees outside, so we sat in the fresh air on their outdoor patio.

I didn't take any pictures at the burgers place this time around. When we came back home, it was more playing with alpacas and a Viber video call with my wife.

Then to finish up our evening we watched a movie together.

The image above is one of the play scenes that she set up in our backyard. You can also see my tomatoe plants in the background, and I should post an update about them as well.

The tomatoes are growing nicely, and at least a few varieties already have small green tomatoes on them. Early Girl an Raspberry Luana.
