My Actifit Report Card: February 19 2026

Hey Actifitters,

More of the same yesterday unfortunately, warmer weather and rain. Beautiful snow cover has been replaced by big rain puddles.

I did find a small pile of snow near the street, but that's the last of it in the yard.

We also found a little bit when going to the forest, just on the sides. Again, that's the last of it and will be gone soon.

Nothing left in the forest of course. Very depressing... Good thing I traded my snow shoes for waterproof shoes.

Kaia had plenty of fun anyways.

Until she led us out of the forest and back home.

It's not the first time Kaia does that: after a walk in the wet forest, she goes directly into her crate (it's never closed, she can go in and out anytime she wants). It's almost like she doesn't want to make a mess in the house and goes there to dry. I doubt it's the real reason but I find it funny.

The rest of the day was spent packing and preparing the house for our weekend getaway. The plan is to go skiing and snowboarding up North Michigan, let's hope they have more snow!
