My Actifit Report Card: January 7 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday we knew the sunny weather wouldn't last long, so we went for our longer walk with Sam in the morning.

The sun was still bright, even through the trees.

And of course, I had to snap yet another picture of my favorite hills.

Before walking back, we added a couple miles in the neighborhood under the worried eyes of a cat.

In the afternoon, clouds started to roll in, but we had several errands to run anyways, including a very important one: picking up bottles of Saint Joseph red wine. We know a little producer in the Saint Desirat town and almost every time I am in France we try to visit and get at least a few bottles. As an added bonus, there are a few beautiful views of the Rhone River along the way. Earlier, we could even see the Alps in the background, but when we stopped on our drive back, they were in the clouds.

Just like Sam, we finished the day quietly. I had a very bad headache and nausea, so I couldn't do much else anyways. It also started to snow a little, that's not every day in this area!
