My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Days stay busy just a few days ahead of my trip and yesterday wasn't different. It started with the drive to get Kaia's food. Like I mentioned in the past, it's always an opportunity for lake photos. But first, right in front of the house where I get the food, I'm always impressed by this almost neon green pond. Beautiful but I'm sure the mosquitoes activity must be crazy!

The best part of course is the real lake a little further.

With some awesome clouds in the sky, it's even better.

For sure, some people were having a blast on the lake!

I never tried but that looks like really fun! Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay much longer. Many more things to do at home. I even took the time to clean up inside the car a bit because Kaia sheds so much hair, the entire car was covered. And of course, we finished the day with our daily walk. Just as we got out of the house, we saw this deer family. It's funny how the mother was trying to get the kids to follow but they were too curious about Kaia.

When she barked at them, they did get scared and ran away, leaving the mother not sure what to do!

We left her anyways and continued our walk to enjoy the last moments of daylight.

Nothing special during our walk in the forest, just a quick loop on the trails.

With Kaia in the lead of course.

And finally, on the way back, just a block from home, we met that same neighborhood cat again. As soon as it saw us, it sat down in the middle of the street, not moving at all.

I didn't want to scare it too much, so we went a bit closer and turned around before Kaia started to bark or lunge at it. Looks like a cool cat though.

And that was it for the day. Even though it was busy, final step count wasn't too high, and way below the bar for #poprzeczka, my first miss in July. I'm thinking staying in the competition longer may be difficult, but I'll try.
