My Actifit Report Card: May 11 2025

Hey Actifitters,

The weather yesterday was beautiful, very sunny but not hot, unlike the previous day. I thought it'd be a great day to visit one of the local parks, like Kensington Metropark. Unfortunately, yard work, especially mowing the lawn, was a must and that took way too long. Kaia did her best to stay patient, while also yawning like crazy. Le Chat on the other hand just tried to pretend she wasn't scared of the mower...

I wasn't even halfway done, but at least the visible part in the front yard was good enough that I hoped the city would not complain yet. So I decided it was time to go for a walk and of course we started behind the front yard.

And as usual, it was exploration time for Kaia and Le Chat.

And also as usual, it was just warmup before we went to the bigger forest.

Trying to keep Kaia out of the dirty stagnant water is absolutely useless, she will find a way to jump in!

Or the mud.

Until she finds another puddle...

She looks so happy!

We're often too late to catch the sunset before it hides behind the trees, but this time we were just in time. A bit too bright though without a single cloud in sight.

And finally, one last splashing session before we walked back home.

I finished the day with a little bit more yard work, but I'll admit I got tired and lazy and didn't do much more. A good part of the backyard still needs to be mowed. But like I said, it's not really visible from the street, so hopefully the city will stay quiet until I get a chance to finish it.
All in all, that was a pretty active day, and one of my best step count in a while. Let's see how this new week goes now.
