First day of work... my training diary entry from October 26 2026

_{(Here is another lovely memory from my vacation in Greece. This photo was taken at the beach closest to my friend’s house. It was captured on the very first day. Shortly after the photo was taken, we went for a swim in the sea. Because of a cold, I only managed to go into the sea one more time after that.)}

Hi Actifitters,

my first day back at work wasn’t nearly as stressful as I had feared. Although I did have to slog through about 150 emails, the rest of the day was relatively painless. My colleagues brought me up to speed, and before long, it felt just like it had before my vacation.

As for fitness, the day didn’t involve anything beyond the daily step count I’ve set for myself. My streak is now at 659 days.

Mission 80 (Day 120 = 88.0 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 kg / Total loss = 2.0 kg)

I’m down 100 grams since yesterday. For today, I’ve set out to watch my calorie intake and aim for a significant deficit. We’ll see if I can pull it off.

Yesterday evening, I went shopping and carried my groceries home on foot. This immediately triggered a sudden sweat and a feeling of weakness—a clear sign that I’m still carrying something (an illness) around with me. Consequently, I will definitely have to refrain from exercising for a few more days. Safety comes first.
