(Here is another nice photo of the Isar that I took last weekend. The weather was truly fantastic that day. It’s a shame that it’s over for now—at least as far as the temperatures go.)
Hi Actifitters,
yesterday, I focused on reverse pull-ups again and immediately set a new personal best. Although I didn't reach the intermediate goal on the first attempt, I did manage to improve by three repetitions. Now, I’m just two reps away from the next milestone. However, since I have a vacation of nearly two weeks coming up, I’m not very optimistic about being able to pick up right where I left off yesterday once I return. It will likely take a little while longer, then, for me to reach the next level in my training plan.
Here are a few figures regarding my current training level for reverse pull-ups:
The next goal according to the training plan (41):
| set 1 | set 2 | set 3 | set 4 | set 5 | break between sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 10 | 8 | 8 | 10 | 120 seconds |
My previous attempt (36):
| set 1 | set 2 | set 3 | set 4 | set 5 | break between sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 8 | 7 | 7 | 9 | 120 seconds |
Yesterdays attempt (39):
| set 1 | set 2 | set 3 | set 4 | set 5 | break between sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 10 | 8 | 8 | 8 | 120 seconds |
In addition to the reverse pull-ups, I also did dumbbell biceps curls and dumbbell rows. On top of that, I completed 300 meters of elevation gain at a fast pace on the balance board.
Mission 80 (Day 103 = 85.2 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 kg / Total loss = 4.8 kg)
After not weighing myself yesterday, I stepped onto the scale again today. It showed 85.2 kg. So, since the day before yesterday, I have gained 100 grams.
I’ve planned a longer bike ride for today to do a bit of damage control regarding calories before heading to Greece tomorrow.
