Pull-up progress and recovery bike ride... my training diary entry from August 21 2026

(edited)

(Here is the A380 I managed to photograph on my way to work the day before yesterday, seen from yet another angle.)

Hi Actifitters,

yesterday’s workout included pull-up training again, and once more I was able to make a little progress. This time, I managed to do two more repetitions in the fifth set than I had the last time. In total, I completed 24 reverse pull-ups across five sets. That leaves me just two repetitions short of reaching my current interim goal.

The next goal according to the training plan (26):

set 1set 2set 3set 4set 5break between sets
27557120 seconds

My previous attempt (22):

set 1set 2set 3set 4set 5break between sets
27553120 seconds

Yesterdays attempt (24):

set 1set 2set 3set 4set 5break between sets
27555120 seconds

Afterwards, I spent an hour cycling at low intensity to burn a few extra calories.

Mission 80 (Day 54 = 86.4 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 3.6 kg)

Things have been going very, very well on the weight-loss front so far this week. Unfortunately, however, I forgot to weigh myself today. Normally, I weigh myself first thing in the morning when I come out of the bathroom. But today I somehow forgot and didn't step on the scale until after my first big cup of coffee. Even though the scale showed 200 grams more, I think I’ve actually maintained my weight since yesterday.

I have planned push-ups for today. In addition, I want to complete a two-hour cycling workout to improve my endurance.
