This wasn’t just a walk, it was an immersive ice bath for the soul. My toes? Gone. My motivation? Back. There’s something deeply satisfying about crunching through fresh snow under leafless giants, watching the sun sneak through the trees like it’s trying to catch you off guard with its beauty.

Also, let’s talk about those close-up shots of pine needles dripping with ice. Who knew frozen sap could look like liquid diamonds? Nature doesn’t need filters, just the right lighting and a bit of frostbite.

All in all, a solid 7.5km of frosty magic to start 2026 with grit, gratitude, and a mild risk of hypothermia. Worth every step.
