From Traffic Jams to Apple Trees
Today had “too busy to breathe” written all over it. Office deadlines, traffic jams, the works. By the time I got home, there was no way I was squeezing in my usual walk. But fate (and a helpful colleague) had other plans.
They mentioned a little green path nearby, so I decided to give it a try during lunch. The entrance was easy to miss, a quiet track edged by berry bushes and a neat stack of logs, but it opened into a world I didn’t expect.
The air was fresh, the pond was glass-smooth, and even the towering wind turbine nearby seemed like it was standing guard. I followed the trail, soaking up the peace, until I came across an apple tree just begging to be climbed (okay, not really climbed, but I did stretch for one perfect apple).
Crisp, sweet, and still warm from the sun, it was the best snack I’ve had in weeks. That short walk turned my whole day around. Proof that even in chaos, there’s room for small adventures. 🌿🍏

Yers, definitely very nice views over there! Which is not so obvious around a big office building like the one I am in. Fun thing, it is actually a water reservoir for in case of fire. But instead of making it a concrete pool, they created a little nature reserve around it.
