There’s a certain type of stubborn magic in walking straight into bad weather.
I laced up with optimism, saw those clouds boiling over like a pot of angry soup, and said, “Nope, not turning back.”
The canal gave me zen. The storm gave me drama. And the wind? A reminder that cardio doesn’t always happen on a treadmill.
One walk, but it counted. In kilometers, in soaked socks, in the defiance of skipping the easy way out.
You can’t wait for perfect conditions—not in fitness, not in life. Sometimes the progress is in showing up, soggy and all.
