Steps & Sanguine Sacrifice
Today’s walk was like squeezing a novel into one beautifully written paragraph. Just one trek, 10k steps, and done—but every meter felt like a visual reward.
I headed out knowing my evening was spoken for: the usual blood donation (which I like to think of as my low-key superhero moment). That meant I needed to make this walk count. No fluff, no loops—just a straight-up journey through serene trails, yellow-flower-lined paths, and skies that couldn’t decide between dramatic or dreamy.
Walking has become this weirdly effective therapy-slash-cardio hybrid. Even when I need to dial it back a bit (especially post-donation), it’s not about pausing progress—it’s about honoring it with some patience.
Because here’s the truth: You don’t need to crush every day. You just need to keep moving—literally and metaphorically.
Tomorrow? Lighter steps. But still forward. 🌱👣
