Reflections on Recovery: One Step at a Time
They say the road to recovery isn’t linear, but today it felt like a quiet canal. Just me, 6km of walking, and 10,000 steps to get my body moving again after the flu knocked me down.
The air was crisp, the skies moody, and every reflection on the water seemed to whisper, “Take it easy.” And I listened. It wasn’t about pace or distance today; it was about reminding myself that rest is a part of the process.
Walking along this glassy canal, I couldn’t help but marvel at how stillness can be so powerful. The flu might have slowed me down, but maybe that’s what I needed—to appreciate moments like this, where the world reflects back something calm and beautiful.
One step at a time, right?
