A Golden Hour Forest Walk
Ever had one of those days where the light just makes everything magical? That was today. I set out into the forest with zero expectations—just me, some trails, and a phone ready for photos.
Mud and moats of water threatened my boots, patches of ice dared me to slip, but the sun… oh, the sun. Low and golden, it turned every reflection into a masterpiece. Every muddy puddle? A canvas of light and shadows.
I didn’t bother checking the steps until later: over 10k. Mission accomplished. But honestly? The numbers didn’t matter. The joy of being out there, surrounded by nature, soaking in the quiet and the light? That’s what today was about.
If you need a reminder to slow down and soak it all in, let this be it. Sometimes, a walk is more than exercise—it’s a reset button for the soul.
