Hello everyone, my beautiful hive naija people, it's another beautiful weekend and we are so happy to have you here once again. It’s another weekend and also, a new year to buzz the hive blockchain even as we connect with ourselves. It just feels good to get everyone together every weekend to talk about random things and just have fun.
OBJECTIVE
As we all know, Sam`s Hangout is focused on promoting the togetherness of the Nigeria brethren through engagement and it's also now concerned of the well being of each and everyone who is part of the engagement. This account was opened to make the engagement more personal and official. Yes I believe that a poor person can become a billionaire through hard work and luck, combine with their smart decision, opportunity,their skill.
But for a poor person to become a billionaire more work need to be done, they will start by little, from little they can start to invest big and also they need to choose wise business like good business that can give them money.
Most of the business men today started with nothing but where are they now.
So what they need to doset a goal work towards it also be consistent on it , consistency is really important and you will see they will make it.
I agree with your opinion that one can achieve success and financial freedom through hard work and consistency 💪

This is a very deep one, and I just wanted to drop my opinion before the day gets more busier that it is....
Hardwork is good, and believe me luck can as well lift and take a person very far/high in life. But becoming a "billionaire" just form hardwork, huhm. It's possible but it's rare. A lot of people are very hardworking and still not even a thousandnaire.
A lot of things has to come together for one to be one, things like the system, the right connection, timing and such.
So, hardwork alone is not enough.
Also, we live in a world where you see a billionaire leaving in same strret or owning a big mansion in the/his village that houses a lot of poverty stricken(sorry to use) individuals, people who can barely eat once in a day.
A lot of people can't afford food, rent and hospital bills, and some people have it in excess and keep on stocking it up for their unborn generations, when a generation is here in their life time wallowing in poverty. It doesn't seem right to me though.
Its not a bad thing to be a billionaire, I will be one too. But stocking up and hoarding it without trying to help or lift others with it is wrong.

Can a poor person become a billionaire? Yes. I am someone that believes so well in hardworking, once one is consistent in that way,knows the inner and outer part of what you are doing,that means becoming a pro at your work, it is possible to become a billionaire from being poor but then I never underestimate luck, actually that's God's blessing, bcos when God is not in support, every hard work will be abortive. So, luck can make the journey so fast and easier.
About people accumulating fortune for their generation, it's not a bad idea accumulating fortune for ones generation when it's available, everyone do not use their children suffer the same way they do but raising some people up is also part of accumulating fund because those People will never forget your family, Do you know what's it is to have people who aren't family praying for your success, they will be ready to assist such family at any time.
I also believe in hard work and God's Favour to make things easy. I've seen people who became something because of their hard work, consistency and manners.

Extreme wealth is ethically complicated... On one hand, wealth can be a reward for innovation, value creation, and risk taking. And On the other hand, when a small number of people control more resources than millions combined, it raises serious moral questions about fairness, access, and opportunity.
And Can a poor person become a billionaire through hard work and luck alone? In theory, the Answer is yes.... but in reality, it is extremely rare. Hard work is necessary, but it is not sufficient... People who become Rich are positioned and ready for success. "Success is simply when preparation meets opportunity."
Yes I believe in someone becoming a billionaire through hard work and luck. Being Hardworking and skilled at whatever we do can take us places where we will be linked to get contracts that would change our life. It's not an automatic process, it might take years for that to happen but we shouldn't give up or loose focus. Just one click and out story will be different.

I've never seen a billionaire who made it through hard work and luck. If that is the case everyone would be wealthy in Nigeria, especially those who do betting. That is not to say that luck doesn't exist. It does. Being a billionaire requires hard work, plenty of smart work and a little bit of luck.
People have the right to do whatever they like with their money,. But staking it for their generations to come while a lot of people live in poverty, has no moral justification. It breeds crime and insecurity. When wealth is in the hands of few individual, the issue of poverty hasn't be solved. If one rises and helps another to, and another does same, it goes round and everyone would be happy and crime would be reduced too.
If I reach that level enh, that's what I will do.

It’s possible for a poor man to become rich by working hard and is also possible for a poor man to still work hard and still not get rich…
Long ago we grew with the mindset of go to school, get the certificate and then a good job..now this has been working out in the 90s but you get to make expenses from the salary, sometimes paying accumulated debt before the salary is been paid and at the end of all these expenses you land nack to where you started,
Currently the reverse is the case now…for a poor man now it’s not all about working hard or getting the good certificate but it’s all about working smarter, instead or getting a job you’re working on creating one…finding tools to solve daily problems..for example take a look at a taxi driver and then the building of bolt app..now one is working harder and other smarter..and guess who is becoming a billionaire soon??

So in as much as hard work pays, i don't think hard work can make someone wealthy, because the more needs you meet, the more new needs and wants sets in and you will keep working harder to meet up.
So instead of hard work, work smartly, get the right strategy and pray for the grace and favor of God ( very important )
About accumulating wealth, well, we can't stop anybody from doing what he or she wants with his or her wealth. But I feel we should all be humane and assist one another in our own little way when the need arises.
