it was a beautiful Sunday, i was battling some deep thoughts wen I slept off, but woke up feeling so energetic mentally and God put this word in my heart....

I went to church today, but honing was pressing honestly my phone all throughout the sermon and today was also my pastor birthday too

To be honest, I don't know the current price of cooking gas in my area. The story behind this is that during the early days of inflation on the price of gas, I was able to locate a gas station in an area not too far from mine who was selling for the normal price of one thousand three hundred naira and I used that opportunity to fill my 12kg cylinder.
Since then, I have heard different prices between two thousand five hundred naira to one thousand six hundred. I filled that much not because it was convenient for my purse but because I understand that what ever goes up in my country may take an enternty to come down so I am presently supporting my gas with electric stove I the day the jagabans of Eko Powe holdings decides to pity us and give us light and I am really cooking light.

by 12 the bride and the groom came in, no bridal shower. no grooms men, no protocol ( i didn't even noticed when they came in), less than 50 people in attendance mama papa and few friends and siblings, . pastor was up, wed the couples, blessed the ring, exchanged vows weding don finish ooo....

I spent my whole Saturday on my sewing machine, trying to fixed up what I'll wear..
And do you expect as a tailor,we fashioned our event if not the day of the event but a day before the event.. I know many can't relate, but I know my fellow tailor will understand better.
I was busy sewing and making videos, there after I had to go get my lashes done because omor I want appear like Angel for church..

Well, first off, the price of gas here presently is ₦1,200 per kg. And I must tell you, it has not been easy at all. Cooking has because something else on it's own, you can't just boil water to bathe anyhow naw. "Oga, use cold water or no baff sef." That's what my neighbor do say anytime I complain about how fast my gas dey take finish.
It feels like the times gone are better, what we use in filling a full 6kg then is what we use in filling 1-2kg now. Funniest part is, my gas and some stuffs just got stolen, that was how naija take hit me as I dey like this. Cause I need to to start preparing to go to where I was posted to for service, I would have to buy another gas🤦.
So, pending the few days I have to resume, what do I do, I and my neighbor contribute to fill up her gas, that's what I make use of, and when that isn't available, she has a charcoal stove too. That's what I use. Cause now, man gats to calculate 😁. I thought I had let go and grown past charcoal but then, l find myself here o.
Even some of our neighbors now come to queue for the charcoal stove, they want to cook beans and the likes and they can't afford to use gas😊, this thing is everywhere.
And we can't deny the fact that cooking isn't as simple as before, you have to think, decide, calculate and all. The hike in price of gas hasn't just affected our cooking, it has changed our daily routines, it has constitute to even our mood swings. You can't just come and borrow gas anyhow😁.
It is well, we keep hoping for a change and praying to God.

This weekend topic ehn is something I have been battling since.
The last gas I filled myself in this house was for the price of 1800 per kg, since it finished we resulted to using firewood to cook, well when you stay with older people you tend to dance to their term. And when there is light , I use the hot plate too
Omo let me not lie, they actually dumped the work of cooking to me this past days , until I felt ill and they had to go and fill it three days ago lol.

Hmmm, this matter tie wrapper o. Cooking gas that we were managing is now too expensive that you'd have to spend almost double the price to refill your gas bottle.
Just last week, I bought a kg for ₦1,300 and my gas bottle is 14.5kg. Imagine the amount I spent just on gas o. 🙆

The price of cooking gas is just getting higher day by day, and it’s affecting almost everybody. Last week, I filled our gas at the rate of #1,700 per kg, and some people even bought theirs higher than that. If they increase it again, I’m not sure how people will cope because many might end up going back to be using firewood or charcoal to cook. This gas price is making life even more difficult for a lot of families especially those that can't afford it.

It is well… that’s all I can say but God is taking control oo. It was just recently I discovered Gas has skyrocketed to #1700 per kg. Though this is much expensive, but for me, that wouldn’t stop me from cooking. I have a 6kg cylinder I fill full and last me till 2 months and some weeks. I have been thinking of getting an electric cooker to complement gas because of the constant electricity we have now. At least it will also save me from using the gas every time but for now, I don’t have any alternative than to keep buying gas and even if it goes up to #2000, I believe God will always make a way out.
I wish it could be reduced for the sake of those who barely feed much but do we have a choice in a country where things are done without considering the poor ones. It is well.

Back in the days when a kg of gas was 250naira or 300naira and they were even imploring us to switch from kerosene stove to using gas cylinder. If ONLY AND IF ONLY....
NOW, we are currently filling a kg of gas in my area for ONE THOUSAND AND EIGHT HUNDRED NAIRA (I can't put the ONLY cos I might get there tomorrow morning and is increasing by 50naira) with no other option. The annoying fact is that without cooking much, gas is already looking belubelu like low current electricity.
Forgetting something on fire is like nurse forgetting needle in my body
We are still trying to see if the current charcoal stove purchase will work out but it hasn't yet but hopefully we can get it soon so we can leave this era of gas as Only source of cooking.

I tool a 12kg cylinder to go fill gas and I eas only able to fill 3kg, because gas here is like 2500, that's a lot.

These has turned into national anthem in my house since the last time my mom filled the gas. She bought gas at the rate of 1200 per kg and she has been singing that in our ears.
Now, I'm reading people's comment and seeing that they actually buy gas for 1700 and 1800. I just hope it goes down or remain that 1200 the next time my mom goes to buy, else our ears would just bleed, lol. I totally get her, though.
I don't actually expect it to go down, because truth is, it might not, so it's should just remain as it is and not go higher.

I went to fill gas last week, and I was on the cue when an old lady shouted ewo 1,350 per kg?, normally gas in my area usually between 1,100 or 1,150 but it's suddenly added extra 200, we had no choice than to comply,
this is one thing about increment in price of Goods and services, it's the final consumer who bears the brunt of all of that,
I saw @afriken saying 1,800 and I almost screamed .... here it's 1,350 now, but I know there was a time inalmkst bought gas for almost 2k .....
this country has a way of mounting excess pressure on you everyday you thrive so hard to meet up other pressing needs but it's well God will safe us.

I went yesterday with my friend to fill the gas, and it was 1550 naira per KG.
I don't know where we are driving to in this country.

Omor.. the price of gas increasing and decreasing today in this part of the world is alarming.
Like the one that shocked me most was when our Gass finished on Wednesday so my elder sis wasn't around I had to rush to fill 1kg so I can hurry up and go to church. I did that at the rate of 1400 but returning back from mid week service that same day, I g realised that my sis refilled it at 2k
At first I was thinking she's joking like her normal play.
When I passed the next morning, I saw it written boldly 'Gas 2000."
I started imagining my life on cold days how will I boil water to bath, how will I prepare my regular beans and yam.
Like someone should take me back to those days where gas was 250 per kilo and I'll refilled my gas full without feeling anything.

I remember there was a time when people where asked to changed their petrol tank in their car to gas, back then gas was only between 300/400 and petrol just got to 1000 per liters, A lot of people did this things not knowing they will regret someday. Each Tim I remember this I laugh a lot, Now Gas is now like 2000/2500 and petrol is still 1000 per liters. I have always has it in mind that petrol will still some down back then.
Personally I see inflations in Nigeria as a unnecessary greed of both the government officials and the people. I see no reason why in our country where we produce this thing and our lands are blessed, will be selling gas for that high price. It really a lot.
The reason why I will truly put the blam on government and people within is that they just increase the price of this things and dont state the reason why.
Inflation started from the government, now the people wants to be taking advantage of this and stating their high price.
I see inflations as an economy disease that spreads faster from within the government and the people for their personal greed.
