Hello Vanilla.
Happy Sunday to you.
Happy Sunday, guys! I'll start it saying that this weekend was a boring one for the lovely week I had. I didn't expect it at all. But yesterday(saturday), I spent most of my time creating an illustration on canva and doing the voiceover. I also spent some time figuring out how to upload to threespeak. Thanks to Kenny, who came to my aid.
For Sunday, it's been a weird one, really. It's dull, quiet, and feels like one of those days where I have the most craziest thoughts. But I've taken a sermon from the Internet this evening:
"Never, ever, ever, ever, ever give up on yourself. As long as you keep on fighting, then you can beat your depression."
I'm clinging to this and hoping I'll have a lovely start of the week.π
Boring weekend π€π€π€

Happy Sunday to all the Christians in the house.
I didn't go to church because I'm a Muslim.
But there is a church very close to my house. And don't get me started with there loud speaker so i couldn't help but listen to what they were saying.
They were discussing about how to correct a child with love something like that.ππ
So some church members where like there is a place in the bible that says..... I can't really remember the place sha don't mind meπππ I think she said proverb I'm not sure.
That βWhoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.β
So her question is what is that rod?
And I heard the pastor explained that the rod means to discipline and correct with love. Not make it feel like an abuse.
And I heard someone, probably a young person was explaining that
the rod is different when it comes to some African parents. That African parents correction does days were brutal more like an abuse.πππ
I was just laughing in my room because the person is not entirely wrong. But I think African parents has improved now or some upgrades. Apart from the prayers and other activities. The topic was nice. Or maybe because i could relate to what they were saying.π π
You went to Church from home.π
But shey you were supposed to go to somewhere? You were not supposed to be at home.πΆ

So sorry, dear. Growth requires discomfort at every stage, so I guess this is yours. You'll get over it soon. But quick question: Does it get better with the gym because I used to think this pain only affected people like me who take very long breaks from deep exercising.

This Sunday is so quiet and slow , I guess I'm not the only feeling it.
I made it to church late today, I still met the sunday sermon and I was grateful for that.
The sermon was about humility.
I only went to church today, stayed indoor for the rest of the day , watch movies, made a post and relaxed.
Humility!! Can you gist me what you learnt from the service.ππ

At least you met the sermon. But hope you still dropped your offering? We need it.π
This Sunday dey somehow with me...I no Just dey happy...so moody and boring
But anyways....my Sunday reflection said I should be the light in nation . I should live a life worthy of emulation....so help me God!!!
The end sounds familiar...okay, na National pledge π
That was a good sermon by the way.
Well, I went to church today, and believe me, it was fun..
The topic was, God, the lifter of men.
And we were told to never look down on anybody. And that our present situation is something God is still working on...he will set us up on high π
Yeah I did went to church and I learnt that for our families or society to progress, we must associate in unity and love. If these two are present then there will be empathy and the urge to help ourselves in times of need.
But if these two are lost even between just two children of a parent then they live like they are 20 enemies against each other and there will be no peace or progress
Happy Sunday everyone
