Never trust virals not honest food reviews

After taking about 20 minutes using grab from southkeys mall to a restaurant where was recently viral on tiktok because they are selling my hometown food.

They was actually open in 5 o’clock in the evening so me and my wife spend our time windows shopping at the malls. Opps i forget to mention thats it was actually in Johor , Malaysia where we need to cross border and entering Malaysia from Singapore. But , since it was Fridays there was not many people and crossing border only takes not more than 10 minutes.

The place was known as 888 Skyview Food Court and they are claiming selling the “Sinalau Pork” which means the smoke pork as their speciallity . Well, back at my hometown the sinalau bakas was one of my favourite food but to be honest i only can give them 2/10 marks for their smoke pork.

As a customer that craving for the food , we didnt actually care if the price was expensive because it would be worth it if the food is awesome. But , as you can see their food presentation was bad and it was very dry and didnt taste good as being claim in social media.

This 100 gram smoke pork ribs being sold at RM 15.90 which was about $3.70 . Lucky the other food is taste okay , me and my wife order KB mee sup which was the noodles sup signature from my hometown. I can give 6/10 for that meal but i didnt take the photo since i was bad mood because my expectation for the smoke pork was being turn down ,

This is their smoke kitchen look like , i was actually look legit but im saying that it not worth to come and eat it. If you ask me , i would not recommend this place to my friends.

The worker at this place was actually very friendly. I know it was because we come from same state and have common culture . Beside the food , i can say it very nice to hang out this place because you can meet many sabahan who come to drink at this place.

While we eating our dinner , we found this hungry stray cat come and ask for some food . I give some of my food and play with them while chilling and wait the jammed finish before going back to Singapore .

If you ask me , i ll not coming at this place again except some friend treat me for drink because i have bad experience on the food at that days.
