How was my Friday! | Temporary Friday Marketplace photography | Alive and Thriving on Nov 24, 2023 | Actifit Report number 1018!
Assalamu Alaikum! How are you? I hope that you are doing fine. Welcome to the Alive and Thriving post on Friday, 24th of November, 2023. It is also the actifit report number 1018!
On Friday, I attended the Ultrasound class physically. I left home just after 7 am. I went there by a public bus. On Friday, usually, we get less traffic, especially in the morning because it is the weekend here. So, I reached my destination earlier than the other day. For the last part of the distance, I made a 25-minute walk! It helped me reach the 10k steps goal easily.
The class started at 9 am and ended at around 12:20 pm. Then I went to the mosque to offer my Jummah prayer. Here are a few pictures that I took after completing the prayer.

It is quite a familiar picture in Dhaka city, following the Friday or Jummah prayer. Small vendors come together to sell their products; almost all kinds of products are found here starting from vegetables to chicken, fish etc. Here are a few pictures I took from such a busy and crowded temporary marketplace beside the At Takwa 🕌 mosque

Nope. I didn't buy any from that market. If it were near by home, I would consider. But, I went from the Ultrasound centre. I didn't want to increase the weight of my bag.

That type of periodic market is called a farmers market here, and there are several of them, in different locations. I love markets like that because, one, they're good for the local economy, and two, most of what is offered is from local people, so it's far more trustworthy.
