My Actifit Report Card: October 02 2023
Hello everyone, warm welcome to my actifit report for Monday, 2 October 2023. It is the beginning of the week also the first working day of the week. We all thought that the rains have subsided but alas! we were all wrong.
It rained today as if it was angry with the day, !LOL Some feathered friends couldn't get a better shelter. They had to perch at the rooftop of a building.
It appears that some were even competing to get space on the rooftop.
What is obtainable in men also finds its place in the animal world and that is competition for available spaces.
I was able to get these woke waiting for the rains to subside. I saw these feathered friends make way for others of their kind to settle.
When the rain 🌧️ was over, I walked into the street to get some few groceries and then I met yet another feathered friends. These ones are humble and less competitive. That may be because it was just two of them.
And I think they are looking for food or something. The rain offered me a better opportunity to study the accommodative pattern of some feathered friends which incidentally are lacking in humans.

Birds are interesting to watch. Around here, we have a lot of walnut trees. The crows and the seagulls alike, will take the walnuts and drop them in the road waiting for a car to run over the nut and break the shell. Then they will swoop down to get the prize. Most do well at this sport, but occassionally, I've seen where one has been hit. It makes me mad as I know unless the person behind the wheel was brain dead (it's a 25 MPH zone), they could have stopped or braked for the bird!
It does prove that there is a thought process with the birds and they have figured out that cars are heavy enough to crack the shell!
