Timid steps through a tomato patch, pencil in hand.

I'm sure you're curious that if you haven't visited your garden for a while, where you once planted something, you need to tread carefully, as it's not always easy to tell where the crops are and where the weeds are, and there can be a lot of weeds.

So, yesterday, I set myself the task of starting to draw again after a long hiatus, and the first thing I did was take inventory of my supplies: pencils, erasers, and sharpeners.

The erasers and sharpeners seem to be doing well, but the pencils need an upgrade. But, as the saying goes, a bad dancer gets small pencils, and I wanted to dance.

So, opening my sketchbook, I wrote the start date and my username in the corner and started mulling over the subject of the drawing.

Having started to draw with a pencil on the paper, I decided that the theme would be agricultural and let it be a bed of tomatoes, and the viewing angle would be from the bottom up, just like a hamster running past sees tomatoes.

Since I don't use real life and all my drawings are fictional, it was difficult for me to remember exactly what tomatoes look like on their stems, but I tried.

Every undertaking requires practice, even growing tomatoes, and drawing even more so, because I'm not expecting a good harvest yet, but I tried to focus on where there is something resembling a harvest.

The work isn't finished yet, and tomatoes don't ripen overnight, but I hope that today's two hours of work on the drawing are just the first step, or a way to get back on track after a long break.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
