It’s a delicate subject these days.
It’s a delicate subject these days.
There are topics of conversation that are inappropriate under certain circumstances—so-called "delicate" subjects—where some people might understand, while others could take offense.
Nowadays, the issue of excessive atmospheric humidity likely falls into this category of delicate topics.
After all, at a time when many countries are sounding the alarm about drought, complaining that the air here is too humid feels a bit tactless—lol.
But it is what it is: the air feels like a steam room, making it hard to take a full breath; you feel like you’re about to turn into a goldfish any second, and you find yourself wishing you could borrow a crucian carp’s gills—even just for a little while.
But what’s bad for people is good for mushrooms—which have been waiting for the exact moment humidity rises to the level needed for their mycelium to develop.
Looking at the mushrooms springing up everywhere, I try to convince myself that the high humidity from the nearby swamps is a good thing—but, lol, only during mushroom season; after all, I love mushrooms, but I’m not exactly a fan of high humidity.
In my defense to those living in arid regions, I’d like to say that—unfortunately or fortunately, depending on who you ask—air masses often behave like ill-mannered cats that relieve themselves somewhere other than the spot you wanted them to use.
But you can’t really hate cats—or rain clouds—for that, can you?

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1
When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
