I think that nothing bad will happen if at least once a week I open the Red Book of Ukraine and remind myself of those animals that are protected by law in this country,

Everything has its causes and effects and the fact that any animal aphid or insect falls under protection obeys this principle.

But the reasons are different.

For example some animals bring great benefits to people, for example bees without which it is difficult to imagine blooming gardens because they participate in pollination of flowers, they do it actively.

And some animals, and Cetoniinae are under protection solely because of their rarity in Ukraine they are extremely rare.

I have not found information about any benefits of these beetles rather they can bring more harm than good since they feast on tree juices but passively I think so they too like bees, participate in pollination of flowers I sometimes saw these beetles on flowers.

I share the passion of these beetles for sweets I myself would not refuse something sweet.

On the day when I took these photos I saw a beetle crawling on the asphalt and the fact that in front of me was a rarity for Ukraine as Wikipedia says this added points to chance.

This beetle is quite large slightly smaller than the May beetle, and I saw its color in two variations this is an emerald color as in this beetle and a bronze color in fact the name of this beetle speaks specifically about the bronze color - Bronze beetle.

I had such a pleasant encounter with a rather rare representative of the insect world.
