Emotional conductor.
It may sound strange but as they say, you can't take words out of a song sometimes I want to draw what I don't like to draw namely I don't like to draw people and even more so, I don't like to draw their portraits.
But this time I remembered a funny incident when my wife and I accidentally found ourselves at a concert of a brass band that came to visit our church from a small town in the north of Moldova.
A lot of jazz compositions were playing then, the musicians did not let the copper get bored but that day I did not remember anything except the emotional work of the conductor an elderly man who led this orchestra.
To the question "Did you hear how the orchestra played?" The answer would be "Yes, they played wonderfully but I only remembered the conductor!" lol.
His work was incredible in his facial expressions in his gaze in the movements of his hands there was that incredible harmony of music it looked a little funny but incredibly harmonious.
I didn't have a camera then and I didn't capture this man who as I learned died some time ago.
I doubt that I remember his facial features more than ten years have passed but I wanted to depict a very emotional conductor.
I would prefer not to draw all these details limiting myself to a silhouette but this is just one of my drawings which can be forgiven for not being the most successful.
Perhaps at this stage the portrait of that man looks most like him but I didn't know when to stop.
It was important for me to try to catch the emotional side of the portrait and not its identity.
After some time I put the pencils on the table.
