In the morning we went to do some extra grocery shopping as an extra to take home with us, because many products are a lot cheaper here than in my country, when we got home we had lunch and went for a walk in the nearby woods with our dog.

Something new for me, the railroad crossing here is always closed and is opened by pushing a button on the side of the path, I guess there's a check for nearby trains before opening and when it opens we can hear some old skool portphone transmission talk coming out of the box with the button but it's too unclear to understand what they're saying.
The first time I saw this was on my mountain bike, I was standing there guessing what to do because I didn't see the button to push, good thing there were people on the other side of the track as well so I could see how this worked, we don't have these kind of crossings in my country 😃

We also came across this work of art which at first sight, from a distance looked old but it was made of wood and appeared to be a DIY thing, nice work! 😄
