Well that was fun! - My Actifit Report Card: January 18 2026

The weather forecast for today was great for cycling, a lot of sun! In the early morning the sun had a slow start so I played some splinterlands battles first, at the time it was 2 degrees outside but by the time I left it was 4 degrees, still cold of course but with my winter gear it's no problem, this was the first time this year the weather was good enough since I received my mtb permit for the nearby trail, well... Nearby is 10km distance but that's fine.
It didn't rain much in the last days and with the sun today it was perfect.

What I didn't know there was a cycling event going on on my route, I started wondering what all those yellow arrow signs would be and then I started to see men with reflective vests on intersections as well, so I asked one and he told me about the event, 300 to 400 cyclists were participating but it didn't bother me much, I could see the trail had a lot more fresh tracks and only once I had to wait behind a dad with his son but that's all, plus I think it's a great way to spend time together for them.

I will definitely visit this trail a lot from now on, it's fun and a lot longer than the other nearby trails.

Just over 51 kilometer in total so that's pretty nice, I've set myself a goal to get to 100 kilometers weekly with two rides, mission accomplished for this week!

Later in the day I noticed Fitbit advised me to take things easy today and only do light activities.... 🤔 Whooops, I didn't see that message in time but then again I probably wouldn't have listened anyway, the weather was too good!
Sorry Fitbit... I'll behave in the next days I promise 😇 according to Garmin my recovery time is 66 hours! Wow!
