My Actifit Report Card: September 2 2026

Hey Actifitters,

In the morning, since the city still didn't give any indication as to what to do about the hornets nest, I called a professional myself to take care of it. In the meantime, Kaia and Le Chat had to stay in the yard, still somewhat safe from the stinging monsters.

Early afternoon, the exterminator came over and took care of that nest very quickly and efficiently. All included, pretty sure it took less than 20 minutes. But it was gone! Kaia immediately wanted to check it out, but the chemical they sprayed over the nest area needed time before it was safe. So again I had to quickly stop her.

Later, she felt it was too hot for a real walk, clearly it was a storm weather, very hot and humid. But I also could see beautiful colors in the clouds.

I convinced her to go a little further but the best view was still behind all these electrical lines.

Much later, it was still hot and sticky, but we decided to go for another short night walk. As we were leaving, we found Le Chat in the lawn doing what she does best...

We left her for a quick walk in the neighborhood.

And we finished at the forest again, but like the day before, because of the darkness, we didn't go too deep in there.

And that was it for the day's activities. As expected from the day weather, storms rolled in during the night, with loud thunder. It wasn't so bad and no damage luckily, but more storms are on the way for the next day. Let's see what we get.
