My Actifit Report Card: July 25 2026

Hey Actifitters,

I had planned lots of things to do yesterday, including errands, maybe another run at a park where we can find a little uphill trails (pretty rare in Michigan where everything is flat), etc... But everybody was tired and we got up quite late, forcing us to postpone most of it. Le Chat was the most tired of all as usual.

Kaia tried to get her to move a bit, to explore and play.

But no, that wasn't going to happen!

So with Kaia, we went to the small forest without her.

It was beautiful in our forest. Lots of sun rays going through the trees.

We're trying to keep a balance with Kaia's activities and her injury. But it's difficult with all the distractions in the forest.

As often, we found Le Chat again on our way back, she had moved a bit to get there but was clearly still not in the mood for any activities.

We had just enough time left for a quick loop in the neighborhood, under beautiful clouds.

While walking back, just about a block from home, I saw something in the bushes on the side of the road.

Kaia didn't catch its scent and couldn't see it before I did, so that gave me time for a few close-ups.

In the evening, we had a concert to go to, Jack White at Pine Knob, a great outdoor concert venue. As usual with Jack White, it was a phone free show, so no photo unfortunately (that also explains why my step count is so low, as my actifit phone stayed in the car). But it was a great show, although we were a bit too far. It was a homecoming show for Jack White and his first time in Pine Kob surprisingly, so obviously completely packed. 15000 people in that place, if you are not there right when the doors open, it's not easy to find a great spot in the lawn, so we chose the easier option, and enjoyed the show from the platform near one of the bars at the top of the lawn. Great view but again a bit far. Anyways, it's all about the music of course, and Jack White and his friends delivered, with plenty of good tunes, including of course some from the Raconteurs and the White Stripes. The energy was spectacular and we had a great time. Next show in about a week with Evanescence and Spiritbox, different genre but it should be cool too (although there is a small chance I might need to cancel and resale our tickets).
No photo during the show, but when I got my phone back, the Moon was out there and beautiful.
