My Actifit Report Card: July 25 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was a bit strange because we had lots to do in the house to make it at least presentable for dinner in the evening. So we were working on the clean up most of the night, and even during the day while supposedly at work... Yes the house was in a pretty bad shape... So boring, but plenty of steps! Of course, we did take a few breaks in the yard. Le Chat didn't seem worried about what the house looked like.

We also went for a quick walk near the forest behind the front yard.

After chasing a few critters, Kaia explored in the tall weeds.

As usual, ahe wanted to go deeper in the forest, but like I mentioned, I'm still not exactly ready to go back much further in this forest, too scared of the wasps!

A few loops in the neighborhood next. Just like the day before, we had some dark ominous clouds in some areas.

But beautiful sunny sky on other sides, with bonus reflections.

It got a bit worrying, with more clouds, but the forecast was right, except for a very few drops, it didn't rain.

Perfect for a BBQ outside. Lots of good food and drinks, way too much food actually! That's when a 'digestif' comes in handy, like Genepi (yes, that's where the name of my previous dog came from, I love this drink that much!).

And that was it for the day. A busy day, but that was worth it, with a great evening and night. I also just realized that I just passed the bar for #poprzeczka competition. That was a bit lucky because I had no idea what my step count was. Still a clean sheet in July! But I think that passing the bar on Saturday will be more challenging. We'll try of course!
