My Actifit Report Card: July 22 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Nothing really out of the ordinary yesterday, but with still slightly cooler temps and plenty of sun, our daily walk was great. It started as usual behind the front yard, with just Kaia first, and Le Chat joining.

They had good fun together, but when Kaia went in the direction of the wasp nest encountered a couple days ago, I stayed behind with Le Chat.

Then we headed to the bigger forest of course.

Since we arrived there earlier than most days, it was a good chance to snap my favorite photos with the sun through the trees.

And we also had more time to walk the trails, in spite of the mosquitoes.

We met these two big bucks. Kaia didn't notice them right away, that left me just enough time to get a couple good pictures.

Of course, when she finally saw them, or caught their scent, she chased them and they fled very quickly. She gave up quickly too and came back on the trail.

Until it was time to walk out of the forest.

Not without a few more of those photos first though.

On the way back, I thought about making a detour to catch the actual sunset, but Kaia seemed quite tired already and my step count wasn't bad as it was. So we just walked back home and were done for the day.
