Hi Actifitters,
yesterday, I was able to try out the new intermediate goal in the close-grip push-up training plan for the first time. I have to say, it went quite well for a first attempt. I'm just two reps short in the last set of reaching the next milestone.
The next goal according to the training plan (53+):
| set 1 | set 2 | set 3 | set 4 | set 5 | break between sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 12 | 9 | 9 | max (min. 13) | 90 seconds |
My previous attempt (47):
| set 1 | set 2 | set 3 | set 4 | set 5 | break between sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9 | 11 | 8 | 8 | 11 | 60 seconds |
Yesterdays attempt (51):
| set 1 | set 2 | set 3 | set 4 | set 5 | break between sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 12 | 9 | 9 | 11 | 90 seconds |
In addition, I did a few dumbbell exercises for the shoulders and triceps. Since it was extremely hot yesterday, the workout felt quite strenuous, and sweat was pouring off me.
Nevertheless, after a short break, I pulled myself together and cycled two more routes on Zwift, which really wore me out. Fortunately, I had nothing left to do yesterday and could take it easy for the rest of the day.
Mission 80 (Day 37 = 88.4 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 1.6 kg)
After burning a good number of calories yesterday, I was optimistic that I had lost some weight. Unfortunately, however, that is not the case, because I weigh 100 grams more than yesterday.
I’ve planned a light core stability workout for today. Afterwards, I’d like to knock out a few kilometers on the indoor trainer.
