Recovery Day 31 - Sore muscles... my training diary entry from July 7 2026

Hi Actifitters,

yesterday, I did dumbbell curls and pull-ups. Since I can't (yet) manage a single clean pull-up using an overhand grip, I use a resistance band for assistance. That way, I managed to do two yesterday—up from just one last week. Once I make significant progress, I’ll track my results in a table, just as I do with push-ups, and start following a structured training plan. Until then, I’m staying patient and simply focusing on getting stronger.


Mission 80 (Day 9 = 88.6 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 1.4 kg)

The body is a complex thing. Some days you lose weight, and on others you weigh more, even though your routine is virtually identical. Anyway, today I’m happy to be 600 grams lighter than yesterday.


Technically, shoulder exercises and push-ups were on the agenda for today. However, since I’m still quite sore from my last shoulder workout, I’m going to postpone the session until tomorrow.

I’m not sure if it’s a wise decision, but I’m leaning towards doing a light, relaxed test ride on my smart trainer today. That said, if I notice any signs of muscle trouble, I’ll stop immediately.
