10k Steps, One Lovely Lunch Break
You know that chaotic energy at work right before summer holidays? The “quick handovers” that aren’t quick and the “just one more thing” emails stacking like Jenga towers? Yeah, that’s my week.
But today, I hit pause. I laced up my shoes, grabbed @nathalie-s, and we escaped for a lunchtime walk along the canal. The air was fresh, the path quiet except for birdsong and the occasional cyclist zooming by. 10,000 steps later, my brain felt less like a browser with 27 tabs open and more like… well, one tab.
Lesson of the day: sometimes you don’t need a vacation yet—you just need a little green space, some movement, and the right company. 🌿❤️
