Majóweczka.
Niestety tylko jedno dziecko z niej korzysta, za to na całego. Drugie w tym czasie jest zdjęte całkowitą gorączką. Zaliczyłam piękny spacer do centrum do dyżurnej apteki, bo przywiezione zapasy leku przeciwgorączkowego nie miały szans wystarczyć. Niestety nawet podawane w górnej granicy zaleceń dawki nie zbijają tej gorączki i Loczek noc spędził owinięty w mokre szmatki. Dodajmy do tego najgorsze: incydent drgawek gorączkowych, tuż przed zaśnięciem.
Na szczęście szybko do nas wróciła, i nie była tak sina jak rok temu. Tak więc po konsultacji z SOR postanowiliśmy, że zostajemy w domu, ale tak czy siak - noc była koszmarna.
May Days. Unfortunately, only one child is using it. The other is completely feverish at the moment. I had a lovely walk downtown to the pharmacy on duty, because the supplies of antipyretics we brought weren't enough. Unfortunately, even the higher-than-recommended doses didn't bring down the fever, and Loczek spent the night wrapped in wet cloths. Add to that the worst: an incident of febrile seizures just before falling asleep. Fortunately, she returned to us quickly, and she wasn't as blue as she was a year ago. So, after consulting the ER, we decided to stay home, but either way, the night was terrible.

That sounds incredibly frightening. It’s a relief she recovered quickly from the seizure, but navigating a night like that—especially with a stubborn fever—is exhausting.
I hope the fever breaks soon and you both can finally get some rest. Wishing her a very speedy recovery.
