My Actifit Report Card: May 15 2026
Greetings my friends and all lovers of physical activities all over the world. Welcome to my Actifit Report for Friday the 15/5/2026. Thank God it's Friday. How time flies really.
It was a batte for the fourth and fifth places in the EPL table. Only one match in the EPL Friday night. Liverpool was occupying the 4th position with 59 points and ((+12) goal difference while Aston Villa was on the 5th position with also 59 points but on inferior goal difference (+4). The match at the Villa Park was therefore poised to be a blockbuster between Villa and the Reds.
It turned out to be so as Aston Villa wasted no time to run over Liverpool with striker Ollie Watkins netting a brace and assisting another as Villa ran out victorious with a (4-2) win. Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk scored the two goals for Liverpool on the night.
After the game, Aston Villa leapfrogged Liverpool to the 4th position with 62 points and thus qualified for next season's Champions League while Liverpool dropped down to the 5th position. Uefa Champions League anthem could be heard boozing out of the Villa Park at the end of the game. Such a joy for Villa fans.
