My Actifit Report Card: April 30 2026

Today being Thursday the 30/4/2026 is the last day of the month of April. How time flies. First will be the usual hive power up day. The day began on a good note for me. No rain, only brightly coloured sky and sunshine which radiates the environment. Had to tidy up my work as the next day will be public holiday - workers day.

The first leg of the UEFA Europa League semifinals took centre stage. One on the games was an all English semifinal - a game between Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa. Forest, playing at home in their Gtech Stadium defeated Villa by (1-0) to have a lone goal advantage going into the second leg come.next week at the Villa Park.

The other game was between Braga vs Freiburg and it took Demir Ege Tiknaz of Braga just eight minutes to register a goal. Freiburg then responded with an equalizer barely sixteen minutes later through Vincenzo Grifo.

It however took stoppage-time winner goal from Mario Dorgeles (90'+2) to earned Braga a narrow (2-1) advantage heading to the second leg which will take place at Freiburg's Europa-Park stadium on Thursday, 7 May.

In the UEFA Conference League -
Semi-final, Crystal Palace defeated Shakhtar Donetsk (3-1) away at the Synerise Arena in Krakow. Palace striker Ismaila Sarr made history as he scored the fastest goal in Conference League history in that game. Palace will now take the two goal advantage as they welcome the Ukrainian side in the return leg at Selhurst Park b6 next week.

In the other semifinal match Rayo Vallecano defeated Strasbourg by (1-0).
