My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2026
Greetings my friends and all lovers of physical activities all over the world. Welcome to my Actifit Report for Tuesday the 14/4/2026. Happy Tuesday everyone. I felt for Liverpool in their second leg game against reigning champions - PSG. I already knew that it was going to be a tall order. The Reds struggled to overturn the (2-0) deficit - PSG had beaten them (2-0) away in Paris. Just like my fears was Liverpool lost yet again by the same goal margin (2-0). The game ended (4-0) on aggregate. Now the defending champions have advanced to the next stage which is the semifinals.
The next quarterfinal match on the night was the game between Athletico Madrid vs Barcelona. Athletico Madrid had won the first leg at Camp Nou by (1-0). So Barca felt that they'll overturn the one goal deficit easily and advance. But that was not to be. Even when they pumped in two goals and the game swinging in their favour, Athletico Madrid rallied and scored the crucial goal to swing the game back in their favour. Even though they lost by (1-2), they advanced on a (3-2) aggregate.
Athletico Madrid thus advanced to the Champions League semifinals for the first time in nearly a decade. Atlético last made it to the semifinals in 2017. Kudos to them.
