A pleasant day/evening everyone. I hope you're all doing great and in the pink of health.
I mentioned in my last blog that I was cooking two dishes along with the ginataang bangus, which I last posted, and I promised to share the recipe of the pork chop that I cooked specially for my daughter.
Here it is, and let's see how I did it.
Wash the pork thoroughly.
Crush and peel garlic, then cut into small pieces.
Peel and wash the onion, then cut it into small pieces. I also cut a ring shape from the onion.
Set them all aside with the rest of the ingredients, such as condiments and seasoning.
Heat the pan or cooker, and then melt some butter in the heated pan. Sauté the pork chop until it becomes golden brown. Then remove them and transfer to a plate.
❤
Sauté garlic and onions in the remaining butter and set aside some toasted garlic for garnish later.
Then add the buttered pork chop and sauté it with the aromatics. Then add some water and let it simmer.
As it starts to simmer, add the pork cube, 2 tbsp of honey, 2 tbsp of tomato sauce, soy sauce, just a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp ground black pepper. Mix them well and then cover the pan and continue to cook until the pork becomes tender and the sauce is reduced.
Then add the pineapple tidbits and the ring-shaped onions. Continue to cook for about 3 minutes.
And that's it, our honey garlic butter pork chop is now ready to serve. Transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with some roasted garlic. I am really glad that my daughter loves it... my husband as well...🥰
It was a great meal!!😋
That would be all for now, and see you around.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless…🥰🙏💖
I was looking at your post at 10:40 am and I just got breakfast at 9 am but I'm hungry again hahaha. It's very delicious 😋
Looks good. I like to see all that fat on the pork as well hehe
Looks delicious! Can I have some? :D
