My Saturday is always a busy one for me

Today's for resting.

Today ehn! I will be sleeping and sleeping with no worries for city giveaway if I come short 🙈😕 cos I'm so tired. I had been out for a ministration since last night. Though it's a 24hours 9am-9am but I was called for overnight session so I joined in since 9pm last night and my legs from thighs are so freaking weak atm.
My eyes are saying:

I think @princessbusayo has a planned Owanbe of a wedding today and the Olubadan coronation she went to that day 😄😜. Oya do fast and come and gist us.

Laidis we just dey house oo today.

Owambe later today by 4, my family of faith gathering but food shall be there so we move!

I have no owanbe to attend oo, but I have been busy doing deep cleaning of my house, plan on cooking for the family soon and visiting a friend late in the day.

If I tell you I just woke up , like I slept all through today. So I'm home again and currently preparing to go back to Uyo.
I'm just feeling drained in a way.
It's a lazy Saturday for me sha.

I had one traditional marriage to attend, but I didn't. I had to stay back and tidy up other things

Identity crisis it is indeed. Those who think that they can get tired of being who they are created as and be something else are only lost and needs us to find them. But sadly, the society is rather looking for ways to condole it because they think it is their rights. Forgetting we all have a role to play in each other’s lives because no one knows it all and we are bound to make the wrong choices.

Humm, so many questions begging for answer. And I must agree with you. Critically looking at it,it is deeper than what we see.

But the question again, in the name of what? Perhaps culture?, perhaps just a drift or even Perhaps, little dozens of it does not matter that later begin to matter.

Somebody mentioned that it is things we are exposed to while growing up.

But the big question again, is can we find our 360 degree turn around in such drift, can we look back from where we have fallen to pick up ourselves and return to the previous plan, the plan of nature.

But be it as it may, it seems difficult most times to return once that drift is done. Once the deed is done.

So my 2 Cents will be ,parents train up a child in the way he should grow so that when grown he wouldn't depart from it.

We should also not close our eyes to vices and ulterior moves our wards are making while growing up.

We should prep support them to grow into adult with sound mind devoid of odd people and moves.

Though most of these things happen while grown ,but mostly the influence comes from external influences and things they are exposed to.

I can go on and on but my spirit says no .

May our senses, nerves and intuition lead us right in our individual hones and houses.

This was so funny and I know it was funny because I’m not guilty.

Most people that chose to identify as anything needs help not acceptance. They are screaming help me the moment they are confused of what they are and they start seeing the need to be something else that they weren’t initially.

The society accepting just anything is only calling for chaos. The moment some countries accepted it, that was the moment more persons became encouraged to want to be who they are not.

Well, I must confess,some people have lost their sense of belonging and as such the society should take it up squarely with them.

This is just mostly a problem of lack of love for oneself. If changing our gender is what makes us feel love, that’s a big problem and such people need our help and prayers.

Indeed, the rate is increasing by the day and it is even more concerning that rather than trying to help them, the society is finding ways to accept it.

Personally, I always blame the parents for most things that a child turns out to become why? It might just be that one day when you said something so casually or overlooked something because the child is still young he or she won’t possibly take that because they are children and such a parent took it casually until later they realize how much that habit has eaten deep into their child.

Or the part that parents are even ever hardly around to discuss with their children. Or they always appear too righteous before them. All of these and many more can turn a good training void.

But yes, there is a possibility of these children still making wrong choices even after the good training and that is usually due to one factor some parents overlooked or couldn’t afford a better one and that is their environment (friends, teacher, classmates, church members, the games they play, the movies they watch the words they hear and so much).

It's true that family upbringing, environment and the like cannot be overlooked but still, one's life is a product of his or her choices. When you're to choose between two things, whichever you go for is nothing but your choice.

And when anyone thinks a certain gender has it all rosey compared to the other, such person is simply dwelling in a lie.

It all boils down to our thoughts and what we think of ourselves. If someone thinks life will be easier if they just become something out of the original,then it sad. People have to work more of finding who they are than investing the energy trying to be something they're not meant to be.

Peer pressure have a strong part to play here , as you rightly stated

You’re right. There are so many factors that affects our choices as humans and what we expose our minds to is a major factor.

We can only keep sharing our opinions and hope that people see the light in it or they find the right way to go about things.

You’re right. It is our choices and the influence of things and people on us that shapes us. Most times we think we are in charge of our choices, little do we know that someone or something somewhere is constantly making decisions for us.

“We be anything we want” is a phrase that gives us this liberty to do the unthinkable but it makes us feel good when we say it. We think by doing anything we want, we are in charge but it only means we have lose control of being in charge because we don’t know when and what to listen to anymore.

I like that example of the parents saying it openly to the hearing of their children that they prefer a particular gender more than the other. Some children will want to be loved and choose to become the other gender.

While some will want to prove otherwise and be the other gender that is not preferred to prove a point. So many reasons we you’ve said.

Yes, it’s good to do what makes us happy but then, sometimes what makes us happy is bore out of a place of pain or ignorance.

Seeing people change to another gender wouldn't be surprising anymore, if can really see how people especially teenagers and young youth reason nowadays, they can do and undo. They are controlled by crowd ,they don't have mind of their own.

And the it is really quite selfish to just think of ourselves alone not caring what our actions have on others. Those who are transgendered are more concern of what makes them feel good and that can also be due to many reasons which wasn’t properly handled in time.

The first time I heard about this transgender of a thing, I found it icky. But overtime after countless diggings and discussions with a certain friend of mine, my view on it changed.

A lot of factors attributes to that. Just like you said, a child who grew up to hear and see the parents favouring the opposite gender wouldn't think twice before transiting inorder to feel that love, care and attention he only got to be an audience to.

The seed we sow in the minds of the little ones will continue to grow and germinate. It now boils down to who is around to nurture it for them, uprooting the grass off from the real plant.
