I did not go to church because I am a Muslim so have been home all day frying doughnuts for my family.

I have been thinking, are you sure women are not superman beings like superman and wonder woman of the DC heros? If not, tell me how it is possible for me to wake up with serious cold, running nose and real head ache yesterday's morning and waking up today, i find myself wanting my family to eat something different from the regular food we eat every day.

If you see a woman, be it your mum, your wife, your in-laws, your side hen, fowl or chick abeg dash us money because it brings motivation.

@rukkie @beckyroyal L @ucia89. patientakpan @ozd how Una take see dis one

So today we rounded up our Youth Convention and it was nothing short of glorious.
The theme is: Living as a light
And that is to say, our light can only shine when we are able to dispel darkness. In any sphere of life, as long as we prove to be people of light, the world will know because our works will show

Wow, child of light… i definitely agree with you, light and darkness cannot work together, exactly why we need to dispel the darkness to accommodate light in us, thanks for sharing, i really appreciate your insight and contribution πŸ’•

Same to you,I went to church service and was taught the power in sacrifice and spiritual revelation from God.

Yeah I did go to church and we were taught Divine help. You know, even if one is surrounded by multi millionaires, that still doesn't guarantee you getting any help from them unless God lay it in their hearts to help.

No other plans for my sunday as usual

I went to church today and it was amazing. It was a youth program and the message was centered on open doors. I had an awesome day today.

Happy Sunday everyone πŸ’–

I went to church today , and I learned the need to always express our gratitude to God , not only only to God but to our spouses. Sometimes, just reflect on how each other has been helpful in one way or the day and say, "thank you for everything" .

Every time is not all about requesting for money. Appreciations goes a long way to bring back joy in our families...says our Rev. Fr.

Heheh, i want to see your Rv. Fr πŸ˜‚, is it only spouses, I believe it’s all that have made impact in your life in one way or the other…

It is always good to be grateful to God regardless our situation. I see it this way, when we are grateful for little things or even bad things, it pushes the giver to do more and trust us to commit to him even when things are unfavorable.

There is power in gratitude

That was quite a lesson ma

We were also taught thanksgiving today in church 😁

Church was awesome today, it was Thanksgiving since it's the last Sunday of the month. So we danced and praised God for His faithfulness

Hello, I'm working today, Sunday. I'm a security guard at a company. But when I can, I go to church.

I understand the nature of your job..but maybe the day you can't go, you can connect to online church if u can

I understand you. Sometimes when I can't attend church, I usually stream online

Oh yes, I went to church today, and it was actually lovely 😍 Most especially, I loved the sermon for today. The topic was Knowing God for Yourself and it really spoke to me.

The pastor explained that we can actually know God personally, not just through other people. You don't have to wait until you become perfect to pray to God and expect Him to answer you. You don't need to always run to pastors for them to pray for you before God can hear you.

Of course, it is okay to ask for direction and guidance from spiritual leaders but we shouldn't depend on them entirely. The pastor reminded us that pastors also have their own personal issues theybare praying about, so you can't expect them to drop everything and focus only on your problems.

The truth is, only the genuine and honest pastors will actually tell you the truth and won't use your situation as a way to exploit you. But here is the beautiful part, if you actually know God for yourself, even when you go to meet a pastor for prayers or guidance about a particular decision in your life, you will be able to discern whether the person is telling you the truth or not.

When someone gives you advice that is genuinely from God, you will be able to recognize it. And when someone says something that doesn't align with God's will, you will also be able to discern that. Then you can go to God in prayer, talk to Him directly, seek His direction and you will get a clear vision of what His will is for your situation.

The sermon emphasized that we shouldn't think we can just pay people to do everything spiritual for us. Some people will try to extort you and take advantage of your spiritual dependence. But the wonderful truth is that we all can hear God for ourselves and by ourselves.

The pastor gave a funny but real example about some people who want to get married. They will have a long list of potential partners 🀣🀣🀣 and send all those names to pastors, asking them to pray and decide who they should marry from the list 😳 this shows how some people have given up their personal responsibility to seek God's will.

The key scriptures that really stood out were Jeremiah 29:13 about seeking God with all your heart, and Matthew 7:7 about asking, seeking, and knocking. Also, 1 John 4:1 about testing the spirits, and Acts 17:11 about the Bereans who examined the scriptures to verify what they were taught.

The main message was clear: develop your own personal relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, and worship. Seek wise counsel when needed, but don't abdicate your personal responsibility to hear from God yourself. This protects you from manipulation and helps you grow into spiritual maturity.

It was really an eye opening sermon that challenged all of us to take our personal relationship with God more seriously πŸ’―

Happy Sunday all, yes I went to church and it was power filled. I learnt that humility is the key to open the narrow door, that if we humble ourselves, God will lift us up.

I didn't go to church oo due to my condition but what I have learnt as month goes to an end is that good health is really underrated. I noticed I have been feeding on a lot of food and it's showing less on me that I'm eating that much, when I was healthy just little feeding makes me fat. I realized ,food can only show workings on your body if you are healthy.

I concluded my three days convention program on Sunday. I learned a lot about how to imitate Jesus's compassion when dealing with others. I also want to use words that are upbuilding, commending, and encouraging.
