How I Spent My First Day Of The Year || Malaria Fever Kept Me Down Throughout The Day

Hi Hivers,

It's with great pleasure that am welcoming everyone to my blog and I am using this medium to wish everyone a happiest new year.

It's a great privilege for being alive on the land of living to witness this new year and I am optimistic that all my goals will be achieved in this new year.

Sick face and weak body

Since, it's first day of the year. I stay with my family to celebrate with them. Though my day doesn't go as I planned. I have to stay on bed through out the day due to malaria fever.

The thing about life is that nothing is certain except death. My today's plan is to do some work in my birds cage because my female turkey birds hatched five poults yesterday, though one of them was unstable due to neck dislocation. My plan was to amend the cage and do all the needful to make sure that the poults are comfortable when I move them into the cage but I couldn't do anything as I was down with malaria fever.

Actually, it all started from a little headache and I later realized that all my strength are gone. I kept all the five poults in the carton inside my room due to the cold weather. Though, they supposed to be under the care of their mother to keep them warm.

But I was told by a friend to separate the poults from their mother because because female turkey birds usually stepped on the poult due to their carelessness. Though one of the poult has been unstable immediately it was hatched as the female turkey bird stepped on it and this make the poult have a neck dislocation. I wake up this morning and I found it death already. Though it pains me to lose one of the poult but I have already knew that it will be hard for the white poult to survive since it won't be easy for the poult to pick feeds or drink water and I just have to disposed it.

The malaria fever kept me down on the bed and it's even tough for me to be able to take anything not until my wife went out to get me some drugs at the pharmacy and I have to force myself to take small portion of my meal to make sure the drugs work perfectly. Though, I was a little bit relieved after taken the drugs but the headache is still disturbing me.

I believe that I will be alright since I have taken the drugs and have a good night rest. But let's wait and see what the situation is till tomorrow. I hope to regain my strength and get back to my normal self.

I may have been kept down by malaria fever in the first day of the year but I am happy to be alive and I hope to come back stronger sooner.
