My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Nice sunny day yesterday, too bad I had plenty to do at home during the day. We did manage to start our long walk of the day before sunset though.

I gave Kaia a few minutes to explore behind the front yard before we went anywhere else.

The last few weeks, we often go to the forest first, then take the long way back home. Yesterday we did the opposite. First we went towards the golf course to try and catch the sunset. It was beautiful on the way.

When we arrived near the fence, the sun was mostly behind the trees, but the sky still nicely lit with orange hues.

Of course, we had to stop by one of my favorite spots and catch a few other great views.

Before going to the forest, we made several detours in the area, because I didn't want to leave this scenery behind just yet.

When it was all gone, we finally walked to the forest. When we arrive from this side, it's easy to check on our tree friend first.

With all these detours, it was of course later when we made it inside the forest, but it was still just before darkness when we reached one of the side entrances.

We did stay until it was fully dark though.

And finally after a couple more miles in the neighborhood, we were back home.

I think I say that a bit too often, but in spite of a slightly late start, this was a nice walk. This week is getting a bit too warm for my liking, but hopefully we can have more of these walks.
